Morrison Credits Hard Work For Success

Morrison Credits Hard Work For Success

James Morrison was delighted with his scoring return against Wigan, but he believes our success so far this season is down to one thing...hard work on the training pitch.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after our 2-1 win, Morrison said his hamstring was fine, apart from a bit of tightness, and he was pleased to see us get all the points after recent disappointments.

'My leg felt fine, there was a bit of tightness at the end, and after a good week's training I'll be fine. We got our rewards for the chances we took. To get three points was something the whole team were delighted with. Everyone thinks it's a bit of a fluke us being up there, but it's not, the lads work extremely hard in training, the gaffer sets us up each week to counter the opposition. It has not exceeded my expectations because we have proved that we can do it.'

Morrison also talked about not getting carried away or complacent because they know how tough the league is, but for higher aspirations he says we can look at those and maybe a European push only once we have got to 40 points, but even then, we have to continue taking it game by game and giving every match everything we possibly can.
