Reid Pleased With U21 Return
Steven Reid has said he feels fine after making his comeback in last night's U21 game, and now he's hoping to push for a first team place.
Speaking to wba.co.uk after making his comeback, and suffering no ill effects, the 31 year old said after 2 months out.
'There's no problem with the hamstring, and I feel better for playing. It's important that everything is bang on and I'm pleased I'm now where I need to be in terms of my hamstring. I had a good couple of weeks work before yesterday and this is like the last stage of rehab. I'm ready to get back involved now and hopefully, I did enough to get myself back into the squad.'
Be good to have Reid back as a further option, especially for his experience over the festive fixture list. Rotate around and keep everybody that touch fresher, could be a massive boost for us.
