'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Morrison Pleased With Opener

James Morrison has said he was delighted to get back on the scoresheet against QPR.

Speaking to wba.co.uk about his first goal of the season on home soil, the midfielder said.

'I have been unlucky in recent weeks, keepers have made some good saves, so I've just kept going and it was a great ball by Shane. I couldn't miss really, but it was another header so I'm pleased.'

Morrison admits that the team weren't at their best in the second half and that they took their foot off the pedal a bit, but overall like everybody it's difficult not to be pleased with our general level of performance.
