Rosenberg Looking To Start

Free signing Markus Rosenberg is hoping to make his full debut tonight against Liverpool in the Cup.

Speaking to wba.co.uk ahead of the 8pm kick off, the 29 year old said.

'It would be great to start as I played 15 minutes on Saturday and hopefully I will get a chance to start against Liverpool. I had quite a few defensive duties when I came on against Reading, that's part of the job. I didn't really show my attacking side and hopefully I will get a chance to show that tonight.'

Markus admits himself that if he is given the chance tonight, he knows he has to take it with the competition we have at the club.

'We have lots of players and everyone in the squad feels that you have to have a good game or there will be someone knocking at your door. The competition is hard and the squad is really good.'
