Clarke Hoping For Home Comforts

Clarke Hoping For Home Comforts

Steve Clarke has talked about rewarding the Baggies faithful at home, because he realises not everybody can enjoy away successes.

Speaking to wba.co.uk ahead of the Reading game, Steve Clarke talked about keeping our home form going as a victory against Reading would be the first time in 58 years that we have won our opening three games in a season, and Clarke thinks it would be the perfect reward for fans given how they stick by the club through thick and thin.

'Not everybody is lucky enough to be able to travel, so for the ones that pay for their season tickets at The Hawthorns, it's important we give them something to enjoy. I want to try to give the supporters something to talk about as they're going home.'

As for Reading itself he added.

'People might look at this game and think we're the favourites to win it, that's just another pressure we have to handle. It doesn't faze me and it shouldn't faze the players.'
