'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Long On Reading Return

Shane Long has talked about facing his former club for the first time, and on Albion getting back on track following the Fulham game.

Speaking to wba.co.uk as the team look to get back to winning ways when we face Reading this weekend, Long said he was looking forward to facing his former club, but more importantly he's out to show our start to the season wasn't a fluke after the Fulham disappointment.

'Everyone was saying how good we were playing during the first three games but suddenly you have one bad performance and everyone's wondering whether it was all a fluke. You have bad days, like we did on Saturday, and it's how you react to those days that counts.'

As for his Reading ties, he added.

'I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be strange, but hopefully I'll have the bragging rights come the end of the game.'
