Clarke Calls For Patience
Steve Clarke has said players will have to be patient for their chance and trust him that it will come as the season progresses.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke talked about the competition for places at the club, but insisted everybody would get a chance as the season progresses through simple rotation but also injuries and suspensions when they kicked in.
'If the team is performing well and getting results then the players not in the team will be disappointed, but they're not stupid. They understand they have to wait for their chance, and their chance will come because it's a long season. The players have a duty to themselves to make sure they're prepared to take their chance when it comes.'
With new arrivals still yet to make their mark, patience will be key for many players, but Clarke is right, they have to be ready to take their chance when it does come along.
