Rosenberg Must Make An Impact

Fellow Swede Jonas Olsson has told Markus Rosenberg that he must make an impact when he gets his first team chance, both because of the competition upfront, but also the natural demands of the league.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail Olsson said Rosenberg's chance would come, and he has to be patient, but he needs to be ready to shine when that chance comes.

'Markus' first task will be to get in the team, which isn't easy. I really feel that this year we have a great depth in the squad. Everybody will get their chance at some time and, when that chance comes, you have to take it.'

On Markus himself, Olsson adds.

'He's a really good player, he will bring a lot of good things to the team going forward, and the fans will enjoy watching him.'

Must admit I've never really seen him play at length for Sweden, but everybody, including him, are making the right noises, so when he adjust to the pace of the league properly, hopefully we'll have got ourselves a steal.
