Long Looking For A Better Balance

Long Looking For A Better Balance

Shane Long has said that Albion will be looking for a better balance in form this season, after relying on our away trips too much last season.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Shane said he was hoping for a few more wins this season at The Hawthorns, and that he believes our start will give the team the confidence to make that happen this season.

'When the fixtures came out and we had a new head coach in, and last season we had easier fixtures and got no points from three games, it's a great return. We're not getting carried away, but we're confident in our ability. Obviously it's a great start but we've got another 30-40 points to get before we're happy. Home points are good because we relied on our away form a bit last year.'

Winning 6 and losing 10 last season is something the team should definitely be looking to better on home soil, a few of those losses turned even into draws could be huge come the end of the season.
