Spurs Shows Our Improvement

Liam Ridgewell has said that he believes the way we battled back against Spurs shows how we are improving further as a team under Steve Clarke.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Liam Ridgewell talked about our never say die attitude.

'We were very resilient in the first half and in the second half we showed what we're all about. You're not going to go to White Hart Lane and dominate as they're a difficult side to come up against. We took confidence from the first half and created plenty of chances in the second.'

Ridgewell also took the opportunity to comment on the return of Graham Dorrans following his daughters illness.

'It was fantastic to see Dozza back in training and back on the pitch. My little girl went through the same thing so I've got behind him. I've just tried to speak to him as much as possible and show our support. I think he showed on Saturday, in how well he played, how strong he is. Graham has shown great strength and we're all delighted for him.'

Well despite how gutted we Spurs fans are at conceding late on, you guys thoroughly deserved point at the end. Mind you, despite losing to us twice last season, you put us under intense pressure those times too. The introduction of Lukaku was the turning point this time around. Good luck for the season guys.

Lukaku certainly made the difference for you. A deserved point unfortunately
Big Ron
He's certainly making an impact when brought on for us so looks a very good move already. Good luck to you as well lads, surprised to see Harry go, but AVB has a lot to prove so you could be the perfect match.
