Dorrans Still Has A Big Part To Play

Dorrans Still Has A Big Part To Play

Steve Clarke has said that Graham Dorrans still has a big role to play at Albion this season, but that will have to wait until his is back to full fitness herself.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke explained that the club is doing all it can to make life easier for Dorrans at the moment following his daughter falling seriously ill a fortnight ago.

'Graham's been dropping in and out of training depending on hospital appointments and spending the appropriate amount of time with his family. Until his daughter gets out of hospital and gets home, then that will remain the situation.'

Clarke also revealed that Gianfranco Zola tried to sign him during their spell at West Ham, but Albion wouldn't let him go, so he knows what he's about and what he can bring to the team and once he can focus purely on football again he doesn't believe it will take him long to get back upto speed given the pre season he had.
