Yacob's Settled With Home Comforts

Steve Clarke has said that Claudio Yacob has settled in well at the club, and he might even attend the language courses with him because of his own accent!

Speaking to wba.co.uk after Yacob's man of the match debut against Liverpool (2nd to Romelu Lukaku in our vote), Clarke said the player was settling in well and making every effort to learn the language so he can give his Premiership career the best possible chance.

'He's settling in very well, the Argentinians have a great mentality. He and Youssouf Mulumbu were really good at the weekend. He's getting English lessons and he's starting to understand what I say - if he can understand what I say then he's doing well! I might join him for the English lessons myself!'

Yacob's also settling in on the home front.

'His other half is here and her English is very good, so that can help, and his dog is also coming over.'

It was certainly a bright start by the player and you'd imagine he can only improve as he learns the club better, learns the language more and gets properly settled.

Going to be interesting to see which of the new boys prove themselves to be the steal of the season given who Clarke has brought in.
