Rosenberg Makes Albion Switch

Rosenberg Makes Albion Switch

Albion have secured the free signing of Swedish international striker Markus Rosenberg today.

The 29 year old has penned a three year deal after passing the medical he was reported to be over for yesterday, and he has been handed the No 8 shirt.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Steve Clarke said of the capture.

'I'm delighted to welcome Markus to the club. He is an experienced striker who has scored goals in three of Europe's top leagues as well as in the top European competitions. He had several offers this summer but he made it clear that joining West Brom was his first choice and we're really pleased we've been able to conclude a deal.'

The deal is still subject to international clearance, so he won't play any part in the Walsall friendly.
