Albion Smash Stockport 4-1

David Oldfield was delighted with the youngsters as they came out 4-1 winners against Stockport County.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after watching a Saido Berahino brace, and goals from Sam Mantom and George Thorne, Oldfield said.

'We had some added quality tonight with several of the older young players, as it were, coming back into the group. They all did well. Their application was good and the lads deserved the victory tonight.'

El Ghanassy also added another 80 minutes to his pre season work out with Oldfield commenting on his performance.

'This was my first time seeing Yassine in action and he did some very good things going forward.'
