Long Not For Sale & No Bids Received
Steve Clarke has rubbished recent press speculation that Reading have submitted an offer for their former player, and restated the fact that Long is not for sale.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Clarke said there was no truth at all to recent reports of an interest from Reading, and even if there was, Shane isn't for sale.
'We've had absolutely nothing on Shane, there have been no bids and he's not for sale. He's 100% part of my plans.'
In other news, Clarke also added that there was nothing else yet in terms of extended Jonas Olsson's contract as talks are ongoing, but he was delighted with his professionalism.
