Clarke Looking At Martins?
It's being reported by a number of the press that Steve Clarke is interested in taking Obafemi Martins on loan.
However his current club, Rubin Kazan aren't interested in letting the player go anywhere on loan as they want to recoup at least £3m and want the player to leave on a permanent deal.
In other transfer news we are still being linked to Markus Rosenburg and Auxerre's Alain Traore seems to be a new name in the frame, as well as Alexander Madlung.

That's one way of putting it. Not sure what I think on this one to be honest. He would certainly be a more physical presence for us upfront, but he hardly set the world alight when at Birmingham the other season, and I think I'd rather see Cox given more match time IF you assume we are looking at Martins as a replacement for Odemwingie.
