Brunt Focuses On Home Form

Chris Brunt has said he believes Albion can improve on our finish last season but we need to improve our form at The Hawthorns.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Brunt said we had to improve on our 6 wins on home soil from last season and pick up points on a more consistent basis if we want to push ourselves further up the league.

'If we'd won the majority of our home games, as well as doing so well away from home, then we could have finished 7th or 8th. We need to be better at home this season, with the hope that we can pick up as many points on the road, and then who knows? The good thing for us is that there is still plenty of room for improvement, which is better than sitting here wondering how we can get better.'

We certanily had our away form clocked for the most part last term, so if Clarke can work some tricks and get us those extra few wins on home soil there's no reason at all why we can't better our league position from last season.

Lots of ifs and bits, especially with the change in head coach, but a top half finish has to be the aim again with hopefully a more extended cup run.
