Clarke Not Up For Renewing Contracts

Steve Clarke has turned down the opportunity to 're-sign' Paul Scharner, and of course Keith Andrews has moved to Bolton.

The E&S report that Clarke was given the choice on whether the club would open contract negotiations with the two midfielders, but it appears Clarke is happy to let them both leave the club and search for replacements instead.

So it's very unlikely now that Paul will return next season.

The club have also dismissed speculation that Luke Daniels is a target for Michael Appleton at Portsmouth, but have confirmed that Bristol City are interested in Boaz Myhill.
