Clean Slate For All Under Clarke

Clean Slate For All Under Clarke

Chris Brunt has said that he believes everybody on the playing staff will be given a clean slate to start from when pre season training resumes under the new head coach.

Speaking to wba.co.uk a fortnight ahead of the players return to training, Brunt said that whilst Clarke will give everybody a fresh start, the players have to be on board from the get go so Steve has the best start possible in the league.

'There will be a lot of players looking to impress the new coach, we have a few players who might have thought their chance at the club had passed but they now have the opportunity to fight for a place.'

Brunt continues by saying the better start that Clarke has, the better it will be for the players as the season progresses.

'It's important that we make things as easy as we can for the new coach, as players we're all pretty responsible for our actions but we need to ensure we get off to a good start. That means working incredibly hard in pre season and kicking off the season in style.'
