Clarke Officially Unveiled Today

10 days ago Steve Clarke started work for our next campaign, but today it's all official as he's presented to the press.

Speaking before the unveiling - I wonder if he burst out the top of a cake? - Clarke revealed that he'd already been working hard with the scouts to identify possible transfer targets to bolster the team and he added that already felt at home at the training ground after getting used to his new home.

Speaking to wba.co.uk before the main press briefing he said.

'I've been looking at the squad and deciding where we need to strengthen and what we need to do to improve. It has been very productive. One of the first things I did was have a meeting with all the scouts to see which players the club have been looking at over the last 6 months to a year.'

These meetings also included the reading of reports and the watching of multiple DVDs.

'There have been some long days already, but that's part of the job.'

Good to hear he's cracked on already with plans for the new season. If he puts the work in it should come good for him I think.
