'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keane's Agent Plays Down Links

With Roy Keane being one of the many names in the frame for the Albion hotseat, his agent has today played down speculation that the Irishman is looking for a return to management.

Speaking to the press following Keane's movement in the odds chart - some listing him as second favourite - Michael Kennedy said that Keane was focusing on his TV work at the moment.

'I'm not aware of anything happening. Roy is dong his TV work at present and I think he is enjoying that for the moment.'

Quotes from the E&S.

Would Keane be considered to have the right pedigree given his past experiences as a manager, and would he be the type of manager to build on what Roy achieved?

Can't see it myself, I'd be very surprised if he was anywhere near the shortlist to be honest.
