Liverpool Victory Biggest Of My Career

Liverpool Victory Biggest Of My Career

Peter Odemwingie has described the victory over Liverpool as the biggest of his career.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Odemwingie had more than just his match winning strike to celebrate, the goal put him on 25 Premiership goals and put him into double figures in successive seasons.

'If you consider it was against Liverpool, one of the biggest teams, and it was 45 years that our fans have waited for that victory, it would definitely be one of my big days because I scored and the team won. I'm very happy for the team, and this game meant a lot for our head coach.'

With relegation worries well and truly behind us, the next test is to get as many points as we can to finish as high as we can. Odemwingie thinks it would be the perfect end to the season if we could stay in the top ten.

'I think now we should finish in the top ten. I'm delighted about that as at the end of the season I will be able to beat my chest and say I'm playing for a team who are in the top ten of English football. That was our goal and will be a very important thing for our fans.'
