Long Looking For Liverpool Joy

Albion will be looking for another record tomorrow, our win at Anfield in 45 years, and Shane Long is hoping he can get the winner again.

With Marc-Antoine Fortune ruled out with a hamstring injury, it's likely Shane Long will return to the team and he'll be hoping he can repeat his last Anfield success when he grabbed the winner for Reading in the FA Cup.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Long said of his last visit.

'We were struggling that year, I was on the bench but I got to come on and I won a penalty that took us into extra time. Gunnarsson crossed it straight onto my head and lucky enough I scored, so that's a great memory for me to have.'

As for Liverpool specifically tomorrow and Roy's choices of late he said.

'I've had to be patient over the last few weeks because we've been getting some good results, with Marco struggling, it might give me a chance but it depends on what the gaffer has in mind. Of course I would love to play but we'll have to wait and see.'
