Mulumbu Recharged For Rovers
Youssouf Mulumbu has said he is back on top form after being rested in our 2-0 loss against Everton.
Speaking to wba.co.uk the 25 year old said.
'I spoke with the gaffer and he said that maybe I needed to rest a little. I was disappointed but I accept the head coach's choice. Sometimes the gaffer can feel or see something that I didn't see.'
Despite the rest Mulumbu has still made more league appearances this season than his team mates, 27 starts and a sub appearance, so a single game out can't have done him much harm really.
Mulumbu has also called on us to get back to basics in the search for our next three points, adding.
'We need to win to guarantee survival. We need to get back to basics and make sure we stay in the Premier League. That means we have to win on Saturday and get one more point after that, then we will be free to see if we can finish in the top half.'
