'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Roy's Response: Second Half Positives

Roy Hodgson has said he can take solice in our second half performance, despite the loss being bitterly disappointing.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the head coach said.

'When it's 3-0 at half time you are looking down the barrel of the gun and you're looking at a bad day, especially as we weren't playing very well. In the second half I thought, to the players' credit, they gave it a good shot to get back into it. Getting the early goal gave us a bit of momentum but that disappeared when Morrison got injured because we had to do it with 10 men having made all our substitutions.'
