Downing - Mantom Has A Bright Future
Keith Downing has been keeping a close eye on loanee Sam Mantom after his impressive form at Walsall.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Downing said he believed that Sam had a bright future after starting to make a name for himself whilst on loan at Walsall, having played every minute since joining and finding the net twice.
'I think Sam's got a bright future, but we have always felt we needed to give him time. His physical attributes are getting better, he is a late developer in that respect. Sam is a very focused young man who really does work hard every day.'
