Brunt Looking To Get His Place Back

After completing his recovery from injury and making a return to the first team against Man United, Chris Brunt is hoping he has done enough to keep his shirt again.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Brunt said he was hopeful that he had done enough to keep his place for the game against Wigan.

'It's the longest lay off I've had, so it's been frustrating, but the medical staff shaved a couple of weeks off - they've been great.'

Brunt continues to talk about the competition in midfield now and he thinks it's going to be very healthy for the club moving forward with so many good players wanting their place in their team.

'When everybody is fit, there is real competition for places. Adding Keith Andrews has been great for us. We're all pulling in the same direction and everyone wants to be involved, but we can only pick so many players.'
