McAuley The Find Of The Season
Chris Brunt has hailed Gareth McAuley as one of the finds of the season following his performances since join the club.
Speaking to the E&S Brunt hailed the centre half after his Chelsea winner.
'He's been magnificent throughout this campaign and he's been one of the finds of the season, especially as he came on a fre transfer. I'm not surprised he scored but defensively he and Jonas have formed a good partnership and it's working really well.'
Difficult to disagree with his assessment really. A few eyebrows were raised when we first took McAuley on but he's certainly more than repaid the faith that Roy has put in him.
