Sunderland Victory Shows Our Progress
Roy Hodgson has said that the Sunderland thumping shows just how far the club have come in the last 12 months.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson talked about the progress the club have made over the last 12 months, but he knows there needs to be more to come from us.
'I get a lot of satisfaction from the position we're in. I've also had a lot of satisfaction in being at the club just over a year. I've got a lot of satisfaction from many things, not least the response of the players to the work we do and the fact that every time we go out to play, I know they are going to try very hard to do what we want them to.'
Hodgson says that whilst mistakes have been made on the pitch, it hasn't been often that he's really been disappointed in the effort shown by the players.
