Dawson Going Nowhere

Dawson Going Nowhere

Roy Hodgson has said Craig Dawson will not be leaving the club on loan.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson explained his reasons for allowing George Thorne out on loan, but said that Dawson would not be following him.

'It's good for him to get games in central midfield, we have some fierce competition at the moment. So it was a chance for us to loan him out and get a few games under his belt, and we will see how it goes from there.'

As for Dawson, he added.

'We've been very impressed with him, we think he's getting better all the time but we're not interested in loaning him out as he's an important part of our squad.'
