Thorne Appy To Help Out Michael
George Thorne has said he's more than happy to return to Pompey to help out Michael Appleton.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail the 19 year old midfielder said.
'I felt it was only right that I cam back here to play football again, the staff and the fans made me feel very welcome. I've known Appy a long time, he's helped me out a lot throughout my career so I want to be part of helping these lads stay in the division, especially the manager.'
In his previous spell at the club he did pretty well in his four games, so he'll definitely benefit from the extra pitch time.
In many ways, given the options Hodgson has for midfield, a loan until the end of the season could well be in all parties best interests.
