Mulumbu To Rediscover His Form

Mulumbu To Rediscover His Form

Youssouf Mulumbu has said the competition at the squad and the desire to be involved in the derby at the weekend is all the motivation he needs to rediscover his form.

Speaking to wba.co.uk ahead of Sunday's game against Wolves Mulumbu admitted he wasn't at his best against Swansea but he's hoping Hodgson will give him the nod again if he impresses in training.

'For some people (competition) brings extra pressure, for me fair competition is good to step up your game. We have a lot of games and I don't think me, Morrison and Scharner can play all of them. I will do my best to keep my position, I was a little disappointed with my performance on Saturday and I must fight for my place. I'm not looking for excuses, it was just a bad day for me.'
