Roy's Response: A Vicious Circle

Roy's Response: A Vicious Circle

Roy Hodgson has said the players are caught in a vicious circle following the 2-1 loss to Swansea.

Speaking to wba.co.uk following the game Hodgson knows the club have got to get our home form sorted and give the fans something to cheer about again, but it was an all too familiar tale in the end.

'It's an all too familiar story. We keep giving ourselves a chance and getting into good situations and then when we come to play at home we disappoint them by not being able to get a result. It's a vicious circle that can only be broken by us getting a result.'

Hodgson admits after taking the lead and the chances we had in the game, the manner of the defeat is what disappoints him most. We take the lead, the relief hits and then we switch off.

'When we took the lead I thought this is maybe going to be where we would get a result. But it only lasted a minute and then you suddenly find yourself 2-1 down and it's a familiar pattern.'
