Roy's Response: Quite Pleased

Roy Hodgson has said he was quite pleased with our performance against Fulham, if we ignore that last five minutes.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after the 1-1 draw,, Hodgson said.

'I was really quite pleased with the performance if you take away the last five minutes. I thought we did our best to let them back into the game after, for large periods, being fully in control, to be quite frank. They took advantage and made it 1-0, then you think 'oh dear, that could be harsh on us'. When we got back to 1-1 you think at least justice has been done.'

As for Hodgson's return to Craven Cottage, he added.

'I thought the reception I got from the crowd was fantastic. That also made it a very nice night for me. It's a happy ground for me and it's good to know that good times we had here are remembered and appreciated.'
