Pre Fulham Injury Report

Pre Fulham Injury Report

A bit of good and bad for Roy Hodgson ahead of our trip to Fulham.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the gaffer explained that there was a new issue for Shane Long which means he joins Jerome Thomas as doubtful for the game.

'Shane Long is a way off being fully fit, he has got a digestive problem. It gives you a bit of heartburn or pain in the chest. The results are just about to come through, tomorrow might be too soon for him. The only player that hasn't trained is Jerome Thomas and he'll have a fitness test tomorrow.'

Hodgson adds that Thomas is close to a return to training, so he's more likely to figure at the weekend.

In some good news though, he also revealed that Jones, Reid and Scharner have returned to training.

'I don't know if Billy will go down tomorrow but certainly Reid will. All 3 could play, it's just a case of me making a decision in terms of their match fitness. They've all recovered and rehabilitated well.'

Be nice to have an empty physio's room again.
