Hodgson Again Rubbishes Odemwingie Links

Roy Hodgson has again spoken out about the rumours surrounding Peter Odemwingie.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after the press again linked Fulham with a deadline day move for the striker, Hodgson said.

'There has been no approach from Fulham and we wouldn't welcome any approach. He is a valuable player and a player we want to keep. Quite frankly the story has no basis in fact.'

We all knew the Odemwingie links wouldn't go away, but it has actually been quieter than I expected. Made life easier for Roy and the club though, just a shame it seems like we have to deny so many stories to save them gaining traction.
