Cox Delighted With Hattrick

Simon Cox was overjoyed to get the match ball for a sterling hattrick against Cardiff in the FA Cup and he's hoping for more cup joy as the season progresses.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Cox said he was embarking on the biggest six months of his career now, and he was determined to make the most of it.

'Cups are really good for me. Last season I had to show what I can do in the Carling Cup and this season I've got off to a good start and hopefully I have shown what I can do. Hopefully that gives him (Hodgson) a headache.'

With the injuries we have at the moment it's could be the perfect time for Cox to cement himself in the first team for a good run of games.
