Roy's Response: Calamitous Error Cost Us
Following the defensive error that saw us lose to Everton, Hodgson was bitterly disappointed as he believes we were worthy of a point.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson described Scharner's misplaced header as a calamitous mistake and hard to take given our overall performance.
'It was a hard result to take. It was a 0-0 game where both teams defended quite well and nullified each other somewhat. But it wasn't a 0-0 game - that was the problem. When the goal for them comes so late in the game, these are the hardest results to accept. I feel very, very bad after this game.'
