'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Roy's Response: My Men Of Steel

Roy Hodgson was overjoyed to see our work ethic against Newcastle and was thrilled with the overall improvement he is seeing.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said he was pleased with both our tenacity in attack, but also our never say die attitude in defence as we took the game 3-2.

'A lot of balls were being shelled towards our penalty area in the second half. Credit to the players for coming back to get a third goal. To play those last 15 minutes the way we did was a good achievement. Many a team would have capitulated, but I was very pleased and I'm delighted with back to back away wins.'
