Gera Delighted With Bolton Impact

Gera Delighted With Bolton Impact

Zoltan Gera has said he was pleased to be able to help deliver the victory against Bolton at the weekend, as it helped repay the reception he was given by the fans before the game.

Bolton saw Gera's second home debut at the club and the fans responded perfectly to him taking to the pitch, so as he moves forward with his second spell at the club he's hoping he give us something to cheer about regularly.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Gera said he was now looking forward to the Spurs clash and he wouldn't mind repeating his first ever Albion goal against them for a second time.

'We played very well and totally deserved the win. The supporters' reaction meant a lot to me and I enjoyed the whole 90 minutes. We showed good character and we came out in the second half and built on what we did in the first.'

Gera knows he has a fair bit to go in terms of fitness as he admitted he was tired in the final 15 minutes, but the confidence boost will have done him the world of good and he should hopefully only get better from this point forward.
