US Market Interests Ashworth
It's a Dan Ashworth day again, this time on potential loans from the US of A.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Dan Ashworth has said that New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream is not the only person of interest for the club in the States.
We've already had DC United's Bill Hamid over for a trial, and news of our interest in Ream has recently surfaced.
'I first saw Tim during the Emirates tournament in the summer. We have been in discussion with New York about maybe Tim spending a few days with us, like we did Bill.'
Ashworth adds on Hamid that he did well whilst on trial, but further discussions have not taken place between the clubs yet.
'As for Bill, he did well. He's 21 and has just broken into the national squad. We haven't had direct discussions with his club yet as he only went home a few days ago, so he's another one we will discuss.'
Even if these players don't work out it's good to see us looking at newer markets as we continue to improve our lot.
