Inamoto's Got It Taped

Inamoto's Got It Taped

Robson has compiled a video tape of Inamoto's games for the Baggies in an attempt to show him where he must improve. Robson still considers Inamoto as a possible key figure in midfield but has had to speak to the player in order to push him in the right direction.

'I've spoken to Ina about where he can improve his game. As a central midfield player you've got to track back, but our midfielders haven't been good at that this season. When Ina has played on occasions he hasn't done it and others haven't either. We've highlighted what we want midfield players to do and he's been working on it. We've put a video tape together covering certain aspects of his game. Sometimes when you just talk about certain things players don't take it in, but if they see on video they do.'

Inamoto isn't alone in being unable to cement a place in midfield and Robson is still looking for his best combination. The manager admits 'Nobody's been outstanding in midfield, it's an area we definitely need to improve in,'
