Jones - Pressure Is All On Villa

Billy Jones has said the pressure in the weekends derby will all be on the Villa, whereas Albion can just enjoy it.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Jones said that with the Villa looking for revenge from the game at the Hawthorns last season plus looking to save some face after being demolished by Man City, the pressure would all be on them and that we can use that to our advantage.

'Maybe it's a good thing that they've come back to back, we've got one win under our belt and it would be great to get another. It would be absolutely massive to win back to back derby games.'

Jones is also hoping he can retain his place in the squad, because he says these are the types of games that he wants to play in.

'It's what I've always wanted to do, to play in the big occasions at the big grounds against top class Premier League players, and it's going to be another massive test for us and for me personally if I'm selected. I think we go into the game as underdogs and that's always a bonus really. This week the pressure is on them, if we go there and perform as a team we can get three points and we're confident of that.'
