'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wood Gets His Wish

Chris Wood's loan spell at Birmingham City has been extended until January 5.

After taking full advantage of his loan experience and putting in some top performances for the Blues, the 19 year old striker will be delighted that another deal has been agreed.

In his two month spell so far he's found the net seven times in eight league games, including three as a sub.

He also experienced a bit of European flavour and grabbed himself his debut Euro goal in their second leg win over Nacional.

This time, the Baggies retain the clause to bring him back whenever we want, which is nice to know, although unlikely to happen.
