Roy's Response: I Was Partly Responsible

Roy's Response: I Was Partly Responsible

Roy Hodgson has praised the players for their second half response, and admitted he got the tactics wrong in the first.

Speaking to wba.co.uk following the goalless draw with Fulham, Hodgson had plenty of praise for the response of the team in the second half, and openly admitted he called it wrong in using the 433 formation for the time in the league this season.

Whilst the Baggies had a couple of opportunities to win it, Hodgson was non the less pleased with our second clean sheet of the season.

'In the first half I don't think we played well at all. I take some responsibility for that. We tampered with our system of play and it didn't work particularly well.'

A point gained from a bad day at the office, more work needed on the 433 if Hodgson intends on using it, but at least we didn't lose it.
