Odemwingie On Norwich Rollercoaster

Peter Odemwingie has admitted he went through the range of emotions against Norwich.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Odemwingie said the goal was the perfect boost he needed, but it certainly didn't help when he missed the penalty.

'For me, it was great to score so early on and it was my first start of the season. It put me straight away where I needed to be mentally, I was lacking confidence but getting the goal so early got me into the state I needed to be in. But I made it difficult by missing the penalty. I was saying sorry to all of them at the end. I was praying Norwich didn't get an equiliser.'

The first of many of Odemwingie you would hope, although fewer penalty misses maybe!

you saw the look on his face when he missed that, wasn't good. especially considering he scored before he missed the penalty. hope he gains some confidence real soon!
