Hodgson Delighted To See Marc's Fortune's Improve

Roy Hodgson has said he was delighted to see Marc-Antoine Fortune get on the scoresheet last night.

After playing second fiddle to Odemwingie last season, and this season having additional competition from newbie Shane Long and an ever developing Simon Cox, Hodgson believes that Fortune took his chance well to remind him of what he can do.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.

'It was very good to see Marc-Antoine get two goals, and he deserved them. His performance was good, he has not had many opportunities lately but he did well and those goals were important for him.'
