'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Odemwingie Reassures Fans

Peter Odemwingie has taken to that Twitter thing to reassure fans over his contract and the speculation linking him with a move away.

Speaking on Twitter, the striker said.

'Contract is not signed cos of the duration of it. Figures agreed long time ago, please be patient.'

He also said.

'To my dear WBA supporters. I love this club and will leave only to a top team which is understandable. Nothing abnormal is going on.'

So clearly, as most people knew, if a genuine top 6 team came in with the promise of regular European football and the chance for medals, he would be off.

The chances are a new 2/3 year deal will be agreed and Odemwingie may well move on next season with Albion getting a nice transfer fee out of it.
