Injury News Ahead Of Season Opener

Peter Odemwingie and Youssouf Mulumbu remain doubts for the Manchester United match this weekend.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.

'Youssouf will hopefully be ok, Peter is a little more worrying because of the ankle injury that he picked up against Bristol City, but I'm optimistic both of them will be ok for Sunday.'

Jerome Thomas has recovered from his deadleg, and Paul Scharner is also expected to be fit after suffering an Achilles twinge. Reid also remains a doubt after a calf tear.
