WBA Confirm Long Signing
West Bromwich Albion have tonight confirmed the capture of Shane Long from Reading for an undisclosed fee.
The 24 year old striker has signed a 3 year contract with a further years option after passing a medical yesterday.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Roy Hodgson said of the capture.
'Shane is one of the most talented young strikers outside of the Premier League and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club. He is a goalscorer and a hard working player who has a very good attitude to the game. With the signing of Shane our squad is looking close to being complete.'
